About the artist: Joris Thysfrom Belgium

Joris Thys was born in the hot summer of 1986 in Beveren. In the same year the successful soccer team k.s.k. Beveren received the Spanish Athletico Bilbao in the local soccer temple ‘Het Freethiel”.
After Joris defeated the nuclear threat from Chernobyl and successfully concluded college, he studied Cross Media design at the Arteveldehogeschool in Mariakerke and specialized in illustration in the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Ghent.
