Emily Harris is a children’s book designer with degrees in both psychology and graphic design. Minneapolis, Minnesota USA is where she lives, works and plays. When she is not in front of the computer (which is rare!), she loves to cook, take photographs and attempt to read the stacks of books that are slowly taking over her house.

Why this work

“I chose Oscar & Lucinda because it was a book that I had never read (or even heard of) before and I wanted to give myself a challenge. It is a complex tale of love, religion and addiction, specifically to gambling, so I tried to pull elements from these three major themes into my poster.“
